Lil G Weevil
A Georgia (USA) based Bluesman, Little G Weevil was born in Eastern Europe. He entered the blues scene through studying John Lee Hooker, Lightnin' Hopkins, R. L. Burnside, Robert Belfour, Albert Collins, and playing the southern juke joints.
Between 2005 and 2008 Little G was on the road at festivals and clubs in the US, Canada, Finland, Germany, Italy, Czech Republic, Austria, Serbia Montenegro, Croatia, Slovenia, Slovak Republic, Hungary and England.
His first solo album, Southern Experience, was released in March 2008. It features the US Blues Music Award winning Billy Gibson and former Albert King keyboardist Charlie Wood. He has opened up for Johnny Winter, The Holmes Brothers, Terry Evans, C. J. Chenier, The Neville Brothers and Denise Lasalle. Today you will find him playing the clubs and juke joints in Birmingham, Atlanta, and Memphis.
